A Little History

Founder’s Day

During the November 8, 2018 Council Meeting; Mayor Wallace prolaimed December 8, 2018 to be Founder’s Day in Huachuca City

We’d like to thank all who contributed to our Founder’s Day presentation. We are still looking for historical photos of the town from its incorporation through today.

If you have photos to share, please stop by or call the library at 520-456-1063. We are working toward digitally recording our town’s history to preserve it for future generations.

Sunset City News

In November of 2018, the Town began publishing a small newsletter as a way to let all of our residents know what is going on throughout town. Its Purpose: Make sure all are informed.

Tombstone Vigilettes

This is a Spotlight on Speakers presentation. Founded in 1946, Tombstone’s Vigilettes, a re-enactment group, will appear in period dress, a mini-fashion show. Vigilettes will explain how this style of garment represented Tombstone life during the period 1890-1915. Vintage objects will be on display. This event will be held at the Huachuca City Town Hall.

Join the Huachuca City Library and the Huachuca Astronomy Club for a star gazing night at 6:30pm on Sat. March 9. This will be held behind the library book connex storage container.
