PUBLIC NOTICE
WATER TANK PROJECT

The Town of Huachuca City has been awarded a federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) from the State of Arizona Department of Housing (ADOH) and will accept sealed bids from qualified firms or individuals with the appropriate license as registered with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors to perform the following services:

This federally funded project consists of rehabilitating the Town’s 750,000 gallon above ground water storage tank. The work is generally described as follows:

The storage tank is located on the corner of Skyline and Gila Street in Huachuca City. In general, the work will involve cleaning and inspecting the tank, installing a second shell manway with davit arm, cleaning and lubricating level indicator parts, installing a new exterior ladder with safety climb device, installing an airbrake on the overflow, installing a confined space entry, replacing the roof vent, installing an interior ladder, caulking joints, welding connections, stabilizing the floor, sandblasting and painting interior & exterior surfaces.

Sealed bids will be received in the office of the Town Clerk, 500 N. Gonzales Blvd. until 3 p.m., on Thursday, June 8, 2017.
